It was stupid and reckless, but Grey left Imogen there with her head in his lap. “I never gossip.” Grey said.

“A lot of people gossip about you.” Imogen said looking up at Grey.

“I know, you’re one of them.” Grey says.

“A lot of the girl’s and guys in your lecture hate you. They also have huge crushes on you too.” Imogen smiled. Though she knew hers was so much more.

“I know they don’t like me. The crushes I ignore.” Grey replies.

“Grey?” Imogen whispered. Has Grey’s hand was in her hair, knotting and caressing almost tenderly.

How stupid was he? Grey quickly removed his hand. “Sorry.”

“Don’t be sorry, it was nice.” Imogen said holding Grey’s hand.

And Grey let her, he left his hand in hers and Imogen gently stroked Grey’s hand with her thumb.

Imogen, wanted to stay like this with her hand in Grey’s feeling his warm skin.

Grey decided he needed to stop this before it got any further, and he pulled his hand from Imogen’s. “I am going to get another coffee. Do you want one?”

Imogen only shook her head. After Grey exited the room, she let out a sigh. She never understood why she wanted someone so bad, it wasn’t like Grey really saw her other than anything more than a student. That was the thing though Imogen didn’t care about rules; she didn’t care that about the teacher/student responsibilities. She saw Grey as a man who she didn’t want to be without.

Grey stood in the kitchen drinking his coffee. He had never been attracted to one of his students, it went against everything in the teacher code of conduct. It was wrong and unprofessional. It was against the law and he’d never teach again. All because Imogen had some stupid crush! If he wanted to fuck someone he had every opportunity to go to a bar, he’d pick any woman up. But he had promised Imogen he wasn’t going out, and Grey stuck to his word.

“Grey are you okay?” Imogen asked walking into the kitchen with a worried look on her face.

Grey placed his cup on the kitchen counter. “I am fine.” Grey wasn’t going to tell Imogen that she was getting dangerously close to him.

Imogen seemed unsure whether or not Grey was being honest with her. She left it though, considering they had only started being civil with each other again. “Do you want anymore pizza?” She asked.

Grey found it best he distant himself from Imogen for a while. “No thank you. I am going to go and mark some assignments.”

“Okay. I had a nice evening, it was fun. You’re a great guy when you’re laid back.” Imogen really liked that side to Grey, and she had a feeling not many people saw it.

“Yes, me too, Imogen.” He smiled before walking out.

Imogen smiled as butterflies fell into the pit of her stomach. Grey had used her name once, and it is was in no good manner. This time was different, and it made her feel good!
